Terms of service

  1. Parties

    Ekaterina is offered by BV La Lumière Consulting, Avenue Louise 323, 1050 Ixelles, Belgium, company number 0762.735.942 ("we"). These terms apply to every subscription of a business ("you").

  2. Service

    Ekaterina takes over your administration: invoicing, collections, bank, purchases, books, VAT, tax, contracts, staff and obligations, as described per plan on the pricing page.

  3. Autopilot and your approval

    Ekaterina carries out the tasks switched on under Autopilot herself, within the limits you set per task, and logs every action with its time. You can switch any task off, undo where that exists and pause Ekaterina at any moment.

    Money leaves your account only after your approval in your bank app. What is signed in your name, you sign. Anything new or above your limit, she puts to you first. Ekaterina never pays herself.

  4. Accountant and social secretariat

    Annual accounts, tax returns and tax advice are reviewed and signed by a licensed accountant (ITAA), our partner. Payroll is calculated by a licensed social secretariat, our partner. Their engagement and liability are set out in their own engagement letter.

  5. Trial

    30 days on the Company plan, no payment card. Without a plan after the trial, everything stays readable, but you can no longer send or file anything.

  6. Prices and payment

    Prices are on the pricing page, in euro, excluding VAT. Yearly, you pay 10 months for 12, upfront. Payment runs through Stripe. Add-ons are billed monthly.

  7. Cancelling

    Monthly plans stop at the end of any month, yearly plans at the end of the year. No registered letter and no notice period.

  8. Your data

    Your data stays yours and you can export it at any time. After the subscription ends you have 30 days to export; then we delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.

  9. Personal data

    For data on your customers, suppliers and staff, we are a processor. The data processing agreement is part of these terms.

  10. Liability

    Our liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the event, except for intent or gross negligence. [To confirm]

  11. Changes

    We announce changes 30 days ahead by mail. You can then cancel at no cost.

  12. Law and courts

    Belgian law. The courts of [district] have jurisdiction.
